The Triffid

This is just about the weirdest water sculpture I have ever made, but I can tell you I had so much fun making it and I have many more thoughts on creating a larger one since. Based on the book “The Day of the Triffids” by John Wyndham, I had the idea to design one a long time ago but had no inclination to create it as the descriptions of the Triffids varied greatly from illustrator to illustrator. So I set about creating my own designs, which has evolved into what you see now. If you would like to own a Triffid in your garden please let me know. Scary stuff!
